Neck Pain

Perhaps due to our more sedentary lifestyle, often involving long periods sitting at a desk, or behind the wheel of a car, neck pain is becoming an increasingly frequent complaint that we treat at the clinic.

Neck pain can involve the upper back and shoulders, and may also lead to headaches.

Assessment and Treatment

By assessing the spinal joints of the neck and the supporting muscles, our chiropractors can diagnose the cause of your neck pain.  If there has been a previous injury, x-rays may be advisable.  These are arranged locally and involve no waiting time.

Treatment involves lifestyle and posture advice, in addition to manipulative and soft tissue techniques, as we recognise these are important factors in the management of neck pain.
