After over 2 years of development, our bespoke practice management software has finally gone live.  This should result in a smoother more organised system for patients and staff alike. It is networked to updated computers in all rooms of the clinic, and will improve all the "paperwork" of the practice enormously.

After a long wait, the new improved website is back. Hopefully there is something for everybody with information about the clinic and all the services that we offer, clinical information pages on a range of subjects, and the ever-popular exercise pages with photographs and explanations of a variety of stretching and core stability exercises.

After a length review by all the clinical staff in both Cheltenham and our practice in Bristol, the new rehabilitation programme has been launched.  Research in this field is being updated constantly, and it is vital to keep at the cutting edge.  Rehabilitation aims to strengthen specific muscle groups that are often responsible for regularly recurring conditions.

In dealing with musculoskeletal conditions, we are keen to ensure that we are doing everything possible to help our patient recover.  This includes some degree of nutritional support.  After reviewing all the literature, we have decided to provide just 3 different angles.  These include a multivitamin/mineral package, an anti-inflammatory group (glucosamine and fish oil), and a calcium supplement.

We are delighted to welcome Claire Stephens to the chiropractic team. Having already been a popular locum, she is now with us full-time, and she has quickly become an indispensable part of Skelian team. Claire has over 5 years of experience and, after starting her career in Buckinghamshire, has been based in Cheltenham since 2004.

The new clinic logo has been revealed as part of the project to modernise the website and freshen up the image of the clinic.  The original logo was first dreamt up on the kitchen table in 1998.  Hopefully, the new version gives a simple message of who we are and what we are about, while signifying health, activity, and an inclusion of all ages and sexes.

After eight years of wear and tear, the clinic was in need of a little bit of tender love and care. Over a 10 day period in June the clinic was repainted from top to bottom. The decorators did a fantastic job working in the evenings and weekends, and there was very little disruption to the running of the clinic at all. The colour was "warmed up" a bit, but nobody seemed to notice !
