In addition to working in the clinic, Stuart is the Director of Academic Affairs for The Royal College of Chiropractors and a member of the College's Health Policy Unit. He also sits on the Professional Conduct Committee of the General Chiropractic Council, and is an external examiner.
In his role at the Royal College, Stuart has leads a campaign to raise standards and improve quality of care by promoting audit, evidence-based practice and the writing of the Royal College's quality standards. He has been involved with post-graduate education for many years, holding a variety of positions on the executive councils of both the British Chiropractic Association and the Royal College of Chiropractors. Stuart lectures on a variety of subjects including post-graduate education, inter-professional communication, clinical governance and professional standards. He has a special interest in pain management and ergonomics, and is a member of the Pain Faculty of the Royal College. Stuart is married with 3 children and lives just outside Cheltenham where his wife, Vivien, is a GP.

Claire Stephens

Claire qualified with a Masters Degree in Chiropractic in 2002 and has been practicing in Cheltenham for over 10 years. Claire is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, is a member of the British Chiropractic Association, and a Licentiate of The Royal College of Chiropractors. After initially working as a locum at Skelian Chiropractic Clinic for a few weeks during the summer of 2007, she soon returned to join the clinic full time and is still here 10 years later. She has a special interest in treating headaches and sports injuries. She is also a keen advocate of spinal rehabilitation as a proven technique to reduce the likelihood of many mechanical conditions reoccurring. Claire lives in Cheltenham and is a keen motor sport enthusiast.

Ben Evans

Ben lives in Cheltenham, but grew up in Pembrokeshire, South Wales. He is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, is a member of the British Chiropractic Association and a Licentiate of the Royal College of Chiropractors. Ben graduated with a Masters degree from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and has additional training in sports kinesiology taping and myofascial dry needling (medical acupuncture). He has a background in both gymnastics and rugby which has led to a strong belief in understanding the function of the body as a whole and not simply focusing on the area of complaint. Ben treats people with a wide range of different ages and backgrounds, and for a vast variety of conditions. He has a particular interest in athletes, not only in supporting them when recovering from injury, but also helping them to optimise their overall performance. Away from work, Ben still enjoys his sport and the outdoor life that he grew up with in Pembrokeshire.

Sarah Beech

Sarah is a Malvern girl and has lived there all her life.  After her two boys started school, she decided on a career change and return to college to study massage. That was some years ago now, and Sarah has significant experience in over seven different massage techniques, including Sports and Holistic Massage. This gives her the luxury of being able to choose the technique that meets the individual needs of each patient. Sarah's goal is to help patients to lead a pain free life whether it is recovering from injury, or maintaining a balanced healthy body, or simply allowing oneself to relax and unwind and recover from the stresses of everyday life.

The Reception Team

We have three fantastic receptionists with nearly 30 years of experience between them and never without a welcoming smile. They manage to keep things running smoothly despite the hindrance of working with an often demanding clinical team!
